When Jesus died and rose and ascended to be with his Father, the Bible teaches he sent his Holy Spirit as a precious gift for his church.  The Bible speaks about many spiritual gifts given by the Holy Spirit and tells us to eagerly desire the gift of prophesy (1 Cor 14:1) and that 'love is the most excellent way'.  Many of us already experience the prompting of the Holy Spirit in our lives which is His gracious work in us. 

We are inviting people to join a 6-week class to provide shepherding for people who would like to know more about the spiritual gifts under the care of Lloyd and Clara Ollerenshaw.  These gifts, when operating in a way that pleases the Lord under the authority of the church leadership, can bring beautiful encouragement and comfort and strengthening to the church family.  With our Bible's open and with the Holy Spirit as our teacher, we will learn about New Testament prophecy, how to evaluate whether promptings and messages are from the Lord, and how we can be one in the Spirit (Phil 1:27). 

The class will start at 2pm on Sunday 1st of November in the church building.
