Listening together for God’s call to serve him

Purpose:  Setting aside an afternoon and evening to listen for God’s voice about where I can serve him

About:

Our Lord Jesus draws us into his salvation of rest, and he sends us out for a harvest.  When he looks at the world he sees big grain crops, and there are young men and women in whom he has placed a desire to be engaged in his harvest.  We need each other to find a paddock where we can be engaged in serving him joyfully using our gifts. 

Some people want to find a ministry at church into which that can be discipled.  Others are exploring if God is calling them to serve vocationally overseas for people who have never heard the name of Jesus to have a chance to hear the gospel.

‘Finding a Paddock’ is a period set aside from late morning until evening at Coolbaroo farm where we can be together, under shepherding car, to clarify our gifts and explore possible ideas of where we can serve. 

The idea is to provide a safe place, for young adults who love Christ to pray and listen to God’s voice, within the body of Christ. 

You may still not have perfect clarity after our time together, but our desire is that this can be a tool in God’s hand as he leads you on a journey for Him.  Hopefully it will also prompt a desire to deepen your discipleship
